Tampa Palms, Westchase, Carrollwood and Tampa Bay Real Estate News From Jeanne Prigitano

There's a great little clip in, of all places, Oprah's July issue.  It's written by Helen Fisher, PhD and says that you should let your instinct guide you when buying a home.  "Don't just endlessly analyze the financials; listen to your gut.  Studies have found that purchasers are more satisfied with a big-budget item when the decision is made incorporating unconscious thought rather than by conscious deliberation alone."

From my experience, this has proven to be true time and time again.  Once you know where you want to be financially and have a general idea of your likes and dislikes, it boils down to a "feel."  I can tell from the minute we walk into a house, if my buyer would even consider this as their home.
